With the file number and block number known, we can build a script around the dba_extents view to determine the object's owner, name, segment type, tablespace name, and even the database file in which the block resides! Figure 2-11 shows the output from such a script. The objfb.sql script referenced in Figure 2-11 is somewhat complicated, so it is shown in Figure 2-12.

The core code for the script is shown in Figure 2-12.
