* They can be created by a session using a create table variant. For example, instead of create table customers, the syntax could be create global temporary table customers.
* They can have associated triggers with standard tables and with other global temporary tables owned by their creator schema.
* Transaction rollback is supported, but because redo is not fully generated, recovery is not possible.
