9 This response-time formula, called an open-form formula, cannot be solved with algebra. I had two engineers verify this and also referenced Wolfram's Alpha Solver (http://www.wolframalpha.com).

10 To create graphs highlighting your area of interest, it is often helpful to set the maximum values for the x axis and y axis. This can be done by right-clicking on the axis, clicking on the scale tab, and manually entering the maximum axis value.
